What is destiny 2 competitive ranks?

Destiny 2 Competitive ranks are divided into six tiers, starting at Guardian in tier one and going up to Legend in tier six. The ranking system is based on a score called Glory Points. Players earn Glory Points by winning matches in the Competitive Playlist, with the amount of points varying depending on the skill level of the opposing team.

Each tier has three sub-tiers, with players earning rewards at the end of each season based on the highest rank they achieved during that season. Rewards include exclusive gear, weapons, and emblems.
